If you're reading this today, perhaps you are curious about or hoping to change something in your life. I'd be happy to talk with you about how I can help. I work with clients on a variety of issues, including depression/anxiety, trauma, relationship problems, life changes, and illness. I also work with couples and families who wish to pursue therapy together. I hope to assist my clients in uncovering and reaching their own goals. In our collaborative relationship, I hope to provide a corrective experience to help clients address their concerns and feel better in the present.
I work with people from adolescence through adulthood. My roots are in a classical psychodynamic and relational style. I also have training in hypnosis and Internal Family Systems (IFS), which I weave into my work where appropriate. I am open-minded and non-judgmental, and I work to create a safe, solid therapy relationship.
I am a compassionate and skilled professional, and I enjoy my work. I believe that the relationship and "fit" between client and therapist is one of the most important factors in successful psychotherapy. I provide a thorough, free phone consultation, and welcome hearing from you.
